No, Blue Berry™ is an exclusive formula combining the high concentration of blueberry extract with 6 mg lutein per daily dose. The formulation is further fortified with eyebright and grape seed extracts.

What is lutein?
Lutein is a natural pigment found in the macula of the eye. The most important risk factor for age related macular degeneration (AMD), - which can cause blindness - is absence of lutein in the macula. Dietary supplementation of lutein may delay, avert, or modify the causes of AMD. Studies also show that lutein supplementation may improve visual performance in persons with age-related cataracts.

Lutein can also be provided by eating green leafy vegetables.
